Unlike standardized curriculum, which is limited to one-dimensional tests, Limelight Education provides diverse opportunities for student reflection in addition to quantitative assessment.

Who is founder of Limelight Education?
My name is Wesley B. Davis, I founded Limelight Education in 2009 to provide in-home education services based on my diverse background in project-based education and biological research.  

  • I was a founding teacher at High Tech Middle Media Arts where I designed project-based curriculum and taught 7th grade Integrated Math and Science for three years.

  • During 2008, I worked as a textbook editor for the CK12 foundation and  as a marine biology Research Assistant in French Polynesia. 

  • I have studied coral reef fish in the South Pacific, monitored carnivores in Lake Tahoe, made wine in the Napa Valley and designed biological tools used for cancer research, in Santa Cruz.
